Ibiza is the one place of ours where the boat outranks the car. You can cross the island end to end in forty minutes, so the vehicle plays a different role here: arriving well at the cove, the restaurant or the port. That is why we mostly run convertibles and high-end SUVs on the island, and save the leading role for the water.
The car is handed over at Ibiza airport (IBZ), at Marina Botafoch, in Talamanca or at the villa where you are staying, from the north around San Juan to the southern coves. For high-season stays it pays to book early: the island runs out of fleet at this level very quickly in July and August.
At sea, our centrepiece is the Hanstaiger X1 trimaran, with room for twelve guests and a crew of three. It is the boat that gets you to Formentera without giving up stability or space: the crossing to Illetes stays comfortable even in a swell, and anchoring off Espalmador is a different experience when the hull does not pitch.
The combination most requested here is a simple one: a convertible for the island days, one full day out to Formentera, and a villa with a chef up north to sleep away from the noise. All of it with the same concierge and a single invoice.

Traffic in high season is heavy between Ibiza Town, San Antonio and the southern beaches; leaving early or mid-afternoon avoids most of the jams. Many beach clubs manage parking with valet, which is worth confirming before you go.
In the north, San Juan and Santa Eulalia offer quieter roads and uncrowded coves. It is where a comfortable car with the roof down is most appreciated.

Ibiza
Can I book a car and a boat together?
Yes, it is the most common request in Ibiza. We coordinate the car on arrival and the boat on the day you choose, with a single point of contact.
Is the trimaran crewed?
Always. The Hanstaiger X1 sails with three crew members and takes up to twelve guests on board.
How far ahead should I book in summer?
For July and August we recommend booking weeks ahead. Outside high season we usually confirm within 24 hours.
How much does it cost to rent a luxury car in Ibiza?
Indicative rates range from about €135 per day in the entry range to over €1,800 for sports cars. In high season availability is limited, so book in good time.
Can I take the car to Formentera?
To avoid insurance and logistics issues, check with us first if you plan to cross to Formentera; the usual approach is to leave the car in Ibiza and cross by boat.
